The company that i am working for provides fruits for staff...today is apple...last week was bananas..can keep my hunger pangs under control... Now waiting to knock off. No class till Wednesday. Yipee...planning a trip to either HK or Taiwan. Now just depending the majority votes and the dates..So excited abt it.. Hope this trip can happen.

Today is my favourite day and also the day which i hurt myself just now. I was cut by the blade when using the microtome...Washed with water and saline. Maybe going to the doctor to get a jab just in case. After all i was cutting formalin embedded tissue. Making myself worried now. Since its friday, maybe i will bring my bro for sushi...haha...its been a while since i had some.

Weekends was fully packed for me. Had some event going on for Sat and Sunday i attended 3 classes of exercises. Pilates and aerobics. Super tired and my thighs are aching. I was a a bit lazy too becos instead of doing my homework, i slept & watch DVDs instead. But in the end, i stayed up till 11pm to do some of it. Even thou the date line is next week i still prefer to finish up as much as possible just in case there's more to come. This morning when i went to office, immediately there are some matters to attend to. Hate Mondays. "Dear god, let me survive this week peacefully."

This is how much they are giving me to cover the bill for putting me on call. Not much. But then again, how much will i use actually? Ppl will call just to inform me that which venue has patient then hang up. 20cts per call?? which means ard 40 calls. But i know it is not that much calls. So i gain lor..haha.

In the mist of all the hectic work, i lost my cover of the thumb drive...so frustrated. Partly its because the cover is pink thus i like it very much. Went to the places that i have been to find but to no avail. Sob..sob...=( No choice, but to use the translucent cover. Blessing in disguise??? Because i am glad that i didn't lose my thumb drive instead.

Due to re-scheduling of class for last week, this week i am attending class from Mon to Fri. Oh boy...so sickening.. Can't sleep early liao. By the time i go back, its very late..so the moment i reach home, wash up then shower. No time to let my hair dry too..haha...then its Wonderland. I changed my piano class to Sunday in order to accomodate my night class. Two years only then i am free again.

Attended my first lesson yeserday. Its called developing skills. The lecturer will teach you how to write resume and cover letter and how it can get you a job. My friend & i was thinking maybe this module should be optional. For those who does not know how to write resume. Hee~~ So i can opt out. But too bad, anyway, this is non-examinable. Only coursework. Tomorrow will be immunology class. The funny thing about MDIS is that not all the notes are given to us. You have to go to the website to print it out. How troublesome that is. We paid so much & yet they cant even give us the few sheets of notes. Worst still, the notes are in PDF format. Imagine if you were to print is out, the most 2 slides per page. Waste of ink right!! I prefer powerpoint, because you can print 6 slide per page. Save paper too. If only i know how to change it. Also, the notes have dark colour background. MORE INK!!! I will have to think of a way. Humph....Other than that so far so good lor. At least my friend is studying with me.

Watch aquamarine last tuesday. Nice show. Love it even thou some parts are quite cheesy. Waiting for another movie "she's the man" the preview is quite funny & also Da Vinci Code. Saw Lorraine, Kim Geok while waiting for Daphne to turn up. Chat with Kim for a while & when Lorraine showed up, my friend turn up a few minutes later, so didnt chat much. Kim is working at UWCSEA. She said its near her place. After movie had subway again. I just love subway. Weekend is coming and i am looking forward to it. Tomorrow is my orientation & i am going with my ex-classmate. We are taking the course together. In the future, who knows when i have nothing to do at work, i can revise my notes. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Hee...

Later going to watch movie..Aquamarine. I think i am going to like the show because its abt mermaid. Over the weekend enjoyed myself very much. With all the shopping plus eating. I bought an osim product. It's the itango. It cost only $109. Usual price is $228. Major discount. Hope to see a firmer tummy and butt. Haha.. Too lazy to work out. Got a new bag too. Plus skin products. Big savings because there was 20% discount but in the form of credit voucher. Just now during lunch, i bought a nice purple top. As i am typing now, a doctor came to me asking for staple but i told her i don't have but i have paper clip. Guess what she gave me that dirty look. To think i wanted to help her to get it. Now...forget it man...get it yourself.

My colleague was doing the 1st part of the PCR last week. So this morning all i had to do was just the ethanol washing step. Plain simple. But when i look at the tube i think she did it wrongly because the supernantant was suprisingly alot. I wanted to ask her abt it, but i thought she has done it so many times which means it should be ok. So after doing my washing part, i incubate it. Later she saw the tube then ask me what i had added. I told her it was 60uL of buffer. Then she say cannot be because the amt in the tube is alot. I then show her the micro-pipette, it is 60uL what.. But i dont think she bought it. Pls lah...why would i want to lie to you. Its only the washing step, what else could i have added..My snort??? But anyway, she say she will take it from there. Better still, let her do it so she cant put the blame on others.
