But why do people have to realise this only when something has happen to them. Why cant they be nice people in the first place. There are many sides to a person and hate those who act innocent but do small acts to bring people down. They are so vile. If they only know the word KARMA.

Went to timbre~substation to chill out with frens. Enjoyed very much...Yet to upload photos on FB. The food was great but the wine wasnt that nice. Not a expert on wine tasting but it tasted dry. The chicken wings was yummy. Chatted alot and updating on each other. The band which was playing was not bad either. Keep a lookout for the photos!

I havent blog for the longest time ever. Sometimes just dont feel like blogging at all. What have i been up to lately??? Work lor..wat else. Plus shopping with my besties and chillin' out at diff pubs. Since i am so into shopping, here are some of the things i have bought or either mel has kindly help me to purchase them...

Mask from faceshop bought from korea. Thanks to mel. i had like 40 over pieces of mask which only cost me S$50. Mask from SK II from dfs also thanks to mel. She had to lug it all the way from the airport. Apparently i was not the only one who had ask her to buy. Qi also bought 40 over pieces and not to mention mel's own share too. She had the whole luggage filled with skin care product ONLY. No joke!!

Next...My own shopping indulgence over a period of 3 months.Hee hee.

Thats all for my collection for now...next is a watch and another burberry bag to add on to my collection. Shopping is the only thing to de-stress me. Be it low end or high end prices, as long i buy something which i like i will be happy. Another place which i never fail to go is bugis village. Within a span or 45 min, i manage to buy 2 dresses and 2 tops. 4 piece of clothing cost me ard $60 bucks. Super worth it man!!! How in the world can u get a $10 dress in singapore besides Bangkok.

That's what is going on in my life now. Imagine how stress i am lately judging from the amt of things i bought. hahaha.

I doubt my next post will be soon. Will try thou.

Due to the swine flu, my company has decided to implement the temperature check station to monitor all patients coming in. For this i am fine by it since they want to take the neccessary precaution. But the biggest mistake they did was to rotate quite a number of staff to help to take the temperature. Touch wood, what if there is a true case and imagine the spread will be unimaginable. They should minimise the no. of ppl coming in contact with the visitors/patients to our company.

Having monday blues today...so many email and work to clear. New protocol given by PI and this expt requires pig's blood. My PI already donated his blood. My turn soon. But will have to get the other materials ready before i can proceed. Cant wait for the results to come out. Hope it turns out well.

First and foremost...happy CNY everyone..This year had been a eventful one for me. Be it bad or good. Had organised a chalet with a friend of mine whose birthday falls on the same day and since he is leaving for the states, it was a birthday celebratiion cum farewell. So happy that my friends turned up and for those who couldnt make it, thanks for the wishes. Organising chalet really was not an easy task. Things to buy and carry. Luckily the food was handled by my friend. 2 days of food. I was very busy and luckily i had some help from my friends. I really enjoyed myself very much. I believe i will miss this gathering alot. I am also going to take a picture of my gifts. Speaking of pictures which i believe i have alot not posted yet and also things left undone.
2009 has taught me alot of things and make me realise that we take things for granted and we cannot always have things our own way. I will always have this beautiful memory of my friends and love ones in my mind.

Bought my very first LV bag on Saturday. Speedy 25 for $1030 and i just found out that it is more expensive in paris. But i have yet to use it. At the same time i have placed a reservation for a purse in the same shade. Waiting for them to call me.
CNY is approaching soon and i have barely started my shopping for clothes. Bought under garments only and shoes. Clothes which is the most impt and i have not started yet. Really pressed for time.
I have been eyeing on a pair of levis jeans with diamantes on the pocket but i think its too ex for a pair of jeans so imagine i saw a similar pair at THIS FASHION on sunday. I grab it and went straight to the fitting room and guess what...perfect fit...Hahah...and since there was discount, i bought it plus another pair which i like it as well. Now i just have to shop for a top and i am done for CNY.

2009...a fresh new start...But i am ashamed to say that i havent been working hard. Been slacking alot. But its also due to the fact my reagents have not arrive yet so cant really proceed on. After which, it will be reserch work non stop. My PI was very pleased with the results.Best one so far. But still need to fine tune a bit to make it perfect. I want to finish asap. Its been dragging since the previous RA left.Then took it over from her.Hope everything goes smoothly.

Xmas is gone and now its approaching the new year. received quite a no. of gifts from frens and colleagues. anyways, i went for tarot card reading and from i gather, its pretty accurate. But now everything seems a blur to me as i forgotten some of the readings.
Been sleeping late these few days. on xmas eve, last fri and sat. These 3 days i have been sleeping at ard 4-5+ in the morning. This is so bad for my body. Caught a movie-pride and glory at marina sq. Man...this movie is really sick. I cannot imagine the brutality of the policemen. I was feeling squeamish for some scene.
Bought myself a pink bag(from Raoul)which i simply fell in love at first sight. Was shopping with mel and when i saw the bag on display i stopped and went in straight away. Will uplaod the pic of the bag and those who love the colour pink will understand why i was willing to splurge so much on it. However, the price of the bag was not as expensive as i tot.(mel totally agrees with me right!!)
Right now, at my desk, i am still feeling the effect of the lack of sleep the past few days and every now and then as i sit down, i am abt the close my eyes. Right now i am reading the twilight series book and it has been keeping me awake till 1+ morining. This book is simply addictive. Its all becos of the movie. And dont start guessing whether its due to the lead actor. NO...he is not that handsome in real life. You should see him off-screen in interview, that hair of his seriously need major works. I guess it must be all that fog in the movie which made him nice looking. Enough talking...gotta do some lab work now. happy new year!!

Just got back from company retreat..cruise to nowhere. The trip was not a pleasant as i would like it to be..By Sat itself we were quite bored already. No where to go to idle our time away..So end up playing cards on the deck. We had to attend seminar in the lounge as it is a retreat afterall. No only that, we had to squeeze 4 person into a small cabin. But one of my bunk mate couldnt make it so i had two other bunk mates. Less squeezy and more time in the bathroom. By sunday, my energy was all time low. Went back home and hit the sacks immediately. Slept till 6pm. Even on monday i still haven't recover my sleep.
Sidetrack a bit, the lee hom concert was great. Still thinking about him even weeks after the concert. talented he is and the sought after piano/violin performance. Perferct ending.
Anyways, i think i am broke this month. The concert tix cost me $100+ and my most recentl purchase is $700+ on skincare and cosmetic, just got it today from Qi. The effects of the cream better be good,heez....I think i will do a test patch first becos apply the whole face...hmmm....dont think i will be talking abt the cruise again...will post pictures soon..the concert and cruise. Feeling sleepy now...Zzzz. signing off. Ops....i more thing...i just got wireless internet installed at home and experincing the pros of it...surfing like mad in my room and no need to "fight" over the desktop. I am loving my laptop more...ok!!! serious i need to sleep soon.

I dont even know when to begin...its been really ages since i update...So many things going on be it work or home. Some renovation going on at home and its completed.(a new storeroom, and roof fixing). And at work, new projects with existing projects and it seems like its never ending. I am having pimples on my face again.
But on the lighter side, i am looking forward for the 1st Nov event-Wang Lee Hom concert. Bought the $138 tickets...Hope i can see him close up. Wo ho...I can't contain my excitement. Mel...we must snap alot of pics ok...!!! Lee hom lee hom. Yipee

Just reached home form clubbing...took a shower and now cant sleep. Anyways went to dragonfly, movida and vali bali for drinks...i am so totally not drunk...I only took a few sips of my friends drinks and those that was offered by my frens fren..As for the music...Neither good nor bad. Move along with the music and basically just sat and shouting to each others ear. I am mentally exhausted as i was went there straight after work to vivo before heading for drinks..I discover something new today not going to say much but it was really unexpected.

Caught "Click Five" concert at indoor stadium on 1st June.. OMG, the atmosphere was so high...I was singing along as well...Actually i dont know the band that well...not even the names of the singer until they showed it on the screen. Nevertheless it was nice...bought the $68 tix and suprisingly the view was great..the stage was less than 50m from us...video taped the show but due to the poor resolution of the camera, it seems as if the stage is very far away from us.

just came back from a short trip at Genting and whats worst i am down with a terrible flu and still gotta work(Lack of water and sleep). I want to take mc but too many things to do on hand. In fact i made an appt with my dentist for extraction tmr but had to cancel it due to my flu and plus mouth ulcer. How lucky can i get!! Miserable man... Stuffed up nose, sneezing and the constant blowing of my nose has cause redness and slight pain. Drank lots of water and watermelon juice but doesnt seem to take effect at all. Now i have having fever. Guess i will have to wait till i get well.

Back to the trip, well basically the trip was sponsored by my company. thank god the hotel room and bathroom was nice. We stayed at resort hotel. Went to the theme park and tell you, the viking ride almost kill me. It was so scary, my legs actually went soft. I have not sat on the viking for the longest time & theres a reason for it. I hate the feeling of falling from above...need i say more? The next two roller coaster was not too bad. Love the chilly weather. The thing i hated was the service at malaysia. everything is done so slowly and it seems like everywhere we went for meals seems to be out. Can you imagine kenny rogers staff telling us to come back in an hour time because they ran out of CHICKEN!!!
Went to tour the "Ripley's believe it or not" museum and very interesting i must say. But if the exhibits were to remain the same, i think it will be pointless.
Went into the casino with colleagues and they gambled. I just stood there and observed. Basically i do not have the luck in gambling and being the shopaholic, i would prefer to spend my money to buy stuff. But it was fun to watch the others, plus some uncles there stink. They must have been some hardcore gamblers who can forget about eat or sleep and not to mention bathe. In the end my colleague had to change tables as the stench was unbearable.

Overall the trip was pleasant but better dont stay there for > 2 days or else it will be boring. Out of a scale of 10, i will give 6.5

Seriously what is the matter with her. She gets overly worked up over the slightest thing. I totally ignored her behaviour. What shocks me is i can't accept this kind of behaviour from a person like her, and whats worst is that i can't do anything. She really needs to do some reflective thinking.. If that word ever existed in her dictionary that is. Wadeva.
Have been doing some thinking on some problems faced and this is taking a toll on my brain. So lost and so hard to make a decision. No matter what, i will have to bear the consequences.
Noticed i havent been updating my blog. I think i am getting too lazy or rather not bothered to update. Its kind of boring too. But yet, it gives me a way of pouring out my frustration/woes etc.

Went shopping with melissa for a liquid foundation-Chanel. I cant believe i actually told the promoter i will take this foundation after trying the colour without asking about the price. As i proceed to the cashier i was thinking to myself that it better not be too ex. Luckily it cost only $65. Anyway, bought a beaded bangle and hair care product. My hair ends is getting a too frizzy. Thursday will be going down to Orchard again to collect the pair of shoes which i reserved. Also, maybe i will buy the bag which i have been eyeing on for a few months. Find it quite pricey thou. $47 aftr discount. I find it amusing that i am willing to fork out money for the chanel foundation but when it comes to the bag, i am actually comtemplating to buy or not. Maybe becos i know its chanel and the price is justible. Whereas the bag has no brand. But i must say its nice looking and most importantly, its big, which is good since i have so many things to carry.

Planning a genting trip with my coliqs. I got the $500 for the incentive trip given by company. Since some of them got the $300 so we cant go too far. nevertheless, its the company that counts. It will be in May. Meanwhile, my company d & d is coming again. This time the theme is "beauty world cha cha cha". I guess it will be 1960s theme. Bought a pink/black dress. Going to wear a headband. As for other accessories, will be borrowing form my coliq. Dont intend to spend too much money on it. My dress cost less than $30. Can't imagine i manage to get a good bargain. But i may not be going also. Still thinking on whether to go or not. Like nothing much also. I shall see how.

Wat a year for me...Started 1st day of CNY with a cough, runny nose and slight temperature..But that didnt stop me from munching all the goodies when i went visiting my relatives. Plus, as usual, the goodies at home is all to us since no one visits us during CNY as my dad is the youngest of his family. Back to work and my illness is still not gone yet. WTH. My colleagus is on leave and will be back next monday..Me alone..so quiet. No one to talk to. But at least work is keeping me occupied.

Flowers

Felt so touched today...one of the patient gave me a bouquet of flowers. He came for treatment and i help in the lab processing part of the procedure as well as the dressing. He thanked me and the doctor. I wish him well..Anyway..i have this old kennel in the front porch and it was previously owned by my dog. Now its just at one corner collecting dust. I was shocked to find that a female cat had somehow decided to make it its home and gave birth to some kittens( i think, i saw only one kitten) Furthermore...god knows how the cat even manage to grab a piece of used garment to use it as cushion. My mum saw it and tried to chase away. I think the mother cat could not take it anymore and manage to take the kittens away to another place as it is now gone. My house its like an animal farm..why?? becos the bird nest which has been hanging for more than a year has once again been occupied( 4-5 times) my the same species of bird and now its there hatching eggs. Cant wait for the eggs to hatch.

Brand new year...received a lot of well wishes from friends..Felt guilty as well as i have not ben contacting them for quite some time..Resolution: to start contacting some of my friends from now on. As for the losing weight thingy...i think gotta put on hold..with x'mas and new year, i have been pigging out...To my friends, i am trying to lose some weight...so no more eating sinful meals...exclude me out if its not possible...thank you..=) just hope this week pass quickly...as i am looking forwar to my weekend. Why is the sun always so hot...How i wished we have winter in singapore...No more sweat...My computer is stationed near the window, thus when its sunny, i will have to stop using and wait till its less hot...Luckily for my laptop, i interchange the wires and now, i am able to use it in my comfort zone without the glaring sunlight...with fan blowing at me..
Developed the photos from my shanghai trip, but i am too lazy to upload the photos onto my blog...guess will have to wait..Later will be having dinner at my aunt's place..steamboat.. Dont feel like going but if i dont go, there will be no dinner for me which means i have to go out to buy..Too lazy..2008 is coming and my new year resolution: To lose some weight and....hmm... cant think of any for now..But i am sure there is more to come.

Worst Day

Today is the worst day ever..Started work the moment i reach office....and was rushing to finish...when i finally completed my work ard 11am, i gotta rush down to NTU for training with the collaborators and work on the sample till 6pm...all these while without eating anything at all...Thus my first meal of the day was actually ard 7pm. I couldnt stand my hunger pangs and went to get nuggets from mcdonald's...ate 3 and was half full...I must have starved myself for too long till my body is rejecting food....Nevertheless, went back home and had fried noodles. Eat for the sake of eating...tmr going to NTU again, but this time i must make sure i go for lunch.

Just touch down on thurs night and coming down with a flu. The weather in china was extremely cold...ard 3-4 degrees. But i still enjoy being in the cold environment. At least when u are feeling cold, you can wear more clothes to keep urself warm, but in hot weather, even if u are wearing nothing, the sticky feeling is still there...Overall the trip was pleasant. Went to see the night view of shanghai and at night, the view was awesome. The lights are no where comparably to our clarke quay. Uploading of photos will be done later. Anyway was super busy yesterday, the other colleague went bcak to M'sia leaving me alone in the lab. The doctor and me work non stop from 8am to 4.30pm except for a 30 min lunch break. Then i carried on with my other work till 6.10pm. Now i am feeling more sick more than before. Really need to rest and get myself all ready on monday..Cant afford to to take mc...

Oh yes...finally i am going overseas this thurs. Really need a well deserved break after slogging for a few months. Frustrating man...initially my family decided to dine out today..But when mum came back from a wedding lunch, she decided to cook instead...and what dishes she prepare....??? PORRIDGE....I really hate it when she cooks that...and what are the dishes that goes with it? Stir fry beancurd...It's so bland man...Tasted like shit...and the vegetables....bland as well...I am sure i can cook better than her. Fuming mad..I was actually looking forward to dinner but instead gotta suffer with home cook meal. I didnt eat much even thou i was hungry. I am going to cook instant noodle later on. As i was eating the porridge and the side dishes, i actually felt nauseated. I tried to mixed it with gravy but the gravy was tasteless...can you imagine it. I am so looking forward to my delicious noodles.

Another colleague of mine has left. Sad man...Now its me and another attachment student(soon-to-be staff). So many things to do and so little time. I wonder if they are hiring or not. The other day, my ex-colleage told me it seems that our boss has no intention of hiring but this was her guess. It could be otherwise. Now there is another project coming along by this young doctor. He is very enthu about his project and wants results fast...both of us could hardly catch up with him with other projects going on also. Then on moday there is lab audit...with me all alone to stand by two labs...I cant imagine. Pray hard for me.

Went for a meal at "New York New York". It was a spur of the moment ,i had this sudden to give my brother a treat.

This was what i ordered....huge cripsy chicken burger with large helping of fries and two miserable lettuce leaves. And after struggling for more than 1/2 hr, this is what i left with.

Not that the food was bad or anything, but being the small eater, i just couldn't finish the fries. And as usual, i will minimise my intake of carbs.(bread on the left side)

London Fish and chips..My brother ordered this and as predicted, he finished up the whole thing and even had some helping of my fries which i eventually stop him.

And last but not least, a meal won't be complete without dessert or beverage. I went for the beverage-- quencher(mango and strawberries blend). The taste was just nice...not too sweet but not that bland. This...i manage to bottoms up.

Ratings: New York New York is definitely not for the small eater. Everything is huge. Servings...drinks and even their plates. Food wise, i will love to try other food in future. And their service is good and the turn ard time for the food was super quick, given that the food we ordered requires deep frying.

Remenber the last time i said i was going to NATAS fair??? Well, my family book a 7 day trip to china again..this time to Jiangnan, Wuxi, suzhou, Shanghai. This time will be going in early Dec. Cant wait for the cold weather. Time to bring out my winter wear again. If not they will be white elephant. Still a long way to go but i will apply leave soon. I wonder this time will i see snow...Hopefully is the last few days of our trip...If not some places of interest might be cancelled. Anyway at the NATAS fair, we were deciding where to go...and my god....There were so many agencies to choose from. Chan brothers was extremely crowded o we didnt bother to check out the prices with them. Finally we settled for Nam Ho. Mum paid the deposit and finally everything is settled. Now i just have to wait till Dec comes. Also i can use the new suitcase i bought. Happy...!!!

I have been doing some thinking...Whether i should take up volin lesson or horse riding. If only i had the money to do both. I checked out the schedule for riding and it seems like its either very early in the morning or ard evening. Morning its way impossible(cant even wake up for work!!). As for violin, my main concern is callous(spelling??) I know its bimbotic way of thinking...but imagine have rough finger tips. Whateva...i know i am contradicting myself. Anyway its friday tmr and i am so happy..I am going on shopping spree tmr...And what do you know, the letter for paying school fees came today....Freaking $6400. (calling out to dad). Of course i will pay a bit, but it means having to cout down on my shopping budget.

Plans for the weekend: Going to NATAS fair, i think we are going to china again. Parents just love the cold weather so much. But why not europe??? Ans: Mum cant stand long flights, i can imagine her face turning pale. I guess we are going skiing also.

Been really busy lately..and now i will be an understudy person for two RAs, which means more things to handle. Hope i can make it. I believe a new staff will be joining us. Oh yes..finally i got myself a laptop after months of procrastinating... Toshiba model...ont ask me wht model..i seriously cannot remember...The comex fair was super crowded. Initally i wanted to get the sony viao(pink) when it first came out. So you can guess how long i have put this thought of buying a laptop on hold. The promo i got was: free upgrade to 2G, extended 1 yr warranty, microsoft office, a really ugly carrying case, antivirus software. Now my next aim is to get a nicer colour case an a mouse..All this i got was only at a price of $1639. I am so happy.. i think i will decorate my laptop with some pink stuff... Anyway there is this function which i felt it real cool. I can scan my fingerprint to log on to my laptop, which means: "HANDS OFF" woho...I shall go enjoy using my laptop then..

The king and i

I went to watch "the king & I" play today. Touching story in fact...towards the end. So sad, the king died...why must romantic story have such a sad ending. a particular scene was so amusing, the way they dance, so comical. Some audiences burst out laughing. I was seated at the extremely right in the 2nd row from the stage. The view was good, but i wont be able to see anything on the right of the stage...as soon as the play started, i shifted to another seat just beside and the view was much better. I dont regret watching, but personally, i think the phantom of the opera is a better play.

I manage to find all the scores for Jay Chou movie "secret"...I was real lucky..i have been searching high and low for it....I am gonna play it as soon as i get it printed. But i can't believe that i have yet to watch tho movie... I must catch it....
Anyway, went to bugis village with Melissa to do some shopping...bought a cardigan and a top...Now i can add some "new members" to my wardrobe. Went to this place for dinner...Can't recall the name of the shop( opp bossini)....The clam chowder soup was very nice..The bruschetta was not bad...with pepperoni mushroom and tons of cheese...Couldn't finish it thou...Then had this strawberry kiwi shake...Not for those who are picky with beverages. This drink can hardly make the cut. My legs are aching now from all the walking.

All of a sudden, my dad wanted to go to ikea at tampiness to do some shopping....Hee...I was so happy to follow along..Bought a pink chair for my study room. Only $25...Bought a lamp to place on top of my piano. Wanted to get pink colour but it doesn't match leh. so i got white instead...Its opaque thus it looks like frosted glass. Classy...=) Dad got a watering can. Seriously i love ikea ever since i was a kid. When i was young i will always insist that they bring me to the play area at ikea where they had those colourful plastic balls. Not to forget the hotdogs and drinks. I think i prefer the tampiness one...More spacious. Ikea rocks!!

Scouting for Travel agency

Went scouting for an agency for my taiwan trip....super exhausting. I think i went to 4 diff agency at least. Then we went for lunch before heading to a dessert stall wher we had our discussion where we narrowed down to a particular agency. Now the thing is i cannot confirm the dates with my frens as i have another important event. The problem is i dont know when i will be inform of the actual date. Hope it doesn't clash with my exams and my vacation trip.

Look at what i bought...even thou i will not be using anytime soon...its too cheap to give is a missed...$29 only. Its 24"...lots of spaces for clothes and my winter wear in case...U never know! I wanted to a pink suitcase....but the one i saw was way to ex..$214 u know. So in the end i settle for this..Closest to pink colour..
I had to drag all the way from chinatown to sembawang...I think i developed muscles on the way.

I am so gonna splurge on myself for the month of July. Getting my salary soon with increment. Wonder how much i will be getting...No doubt it will be very little =( what to do....with this crap increment scheme.

Watch Harry Potter yesterday...No up to my expetation. Feel that the director should focus more on the wand fighting scence. Instead...it ended quite abruptly. Disappointed...Went to Vivocity(Vmax Theatre) to catch it. Thank god the seats are comfy with ample of leg space. Big screen i must say...I was seated at the 2nd last row and for certain scene i felt dizzy. Thank god didn't puke...(heavy lunch at crystal jade...ordered so much food...courtesy of my generous aunt...) Popcorn and drinks later...Yikes....since thurs till now, i ahve been pigging so much....Time to lose weight...

Back to Harry Potter again.. My cousin told me the ending of the lastest book...can u imagine Harry Potter marrying Ginny(Ron Weasley's sister) with 3 kids....!!!Yuck..!!! No prize for guessing who ended with Ron...Correct...Hermione. Who died?? Tons of people...including Snape i think...too many ppl died thus cant recall if he died as well....Snape had this thing for Harry's mum. Thus he has been protecting Harry all along. Thou he killed Dumbledore, it is to gain the trust of Voldermont (died in the end). This could go one forever....I am so into harry potter now...i think i might actually read the book...

Opps...One more thing...i am sure many would have know this by now...The HP book: half blood prince is actually referring to Snape...why?? Becos his family name is Prince and the fact that he is not of pure wizard blood...(one of his parent is actually a muggle(correct spelling??))

My colleague and i will be on course on thurs and fri. Mixed feeling...can go home early if course ends early. However there will be an exam on it..Weird...so far i attended quite a few courses and seminar but never once do i need to sit for an exam. Pray hard that it will be easy.

Taking this opportunity to say goodbye to one of the attachment student. Her last day its fri. However since i wont be in the office, might as well say goodbye to her first. Gave her a treat at Lerk Thai.

I sold my camera on yahoo auction and met the buyer on Friday. I was surprised in fact because its not easy to find a buyer. Some may post for a few weeks and may not even get a single bid. I was lucky enough becos on the 6th day of the posting, someone bid for it. Selling for $490. But made a loss of <$50. come to think of it, i have been using it for almost 6 mths and making a loss of <$50 is considerable.
Anyway, had to go back to offie today to attend a talk.(Dreading it)It ended early and went shopping after that. Actually started my shopping spree yesterday already, got this top which was selling for $69 at first, but due to the sale, i only paid $20. Super bargain. Then at isetan, my friend and i were buying cosmetics and since isetan is having sale, customers can redeem for the shopping voucher. In the end, i bought this skirt which i have been eyeing on for quite some time. Didn't buy it initially because it was too expensive but becos of the vouchers, i only paid like $16(U.P $34) for it. So happy. Manage to get good deals. I just love SALES, Shopping is not a matter of buying expensive stuff. Its about getting affordable stuff and yet it looks nice. Am i right to state that??

Finished watching the phantom of the opera and my god i am so glad i went. The play was near perfect (original cast is better). Pyrotechnics was involved in the show and that added excitment. The crashing of the chandelier was carried out using wires which made the chandelier(very classy) glide towards the stage. The props was so interesting...Trap doors, the fake lake(created by dry ice), rowing of the boat etc... The phantom was so mesmerising and the last scene was so touching. Audiences even gave him a standing ovation. Now i jut can't get the play out of my mind. Scenes from the play keep flasing thru my mind and i will hum the song. I know its over the top. Anyone a fan of musical play should catch it. Ending 20th May. Also, i bough a souvenir for myself. A necklace and pendant(the phantom mask).

Anyone ever read books by this author? Sophie Kinsella. Books by her is a must read. Shopaholic series. Her latest addition to the family is "shopaholic and the baby". It cost ard $30 you know. So expensive...not wanting to buy it first, i went to the library to reserve it. Look thru the online catalog and i clicked "reserve a copy" and key in my particulars.. then this msg pop up. It went something like that " The book has been reserve by you, you are number 325 on the waiting list". OMG can you believe it, i have to wait for 324 people to finish it before its my turn. What to do...wait lor. Meanwhile i will check if i can buy it online..cheaper but not brand new thou.

Bird nest

Remember i was talking abt a nest on my wind chime? Guess what....I think the nestling has grown big and now its using the same nest to breed the next generation. I took this pic when the mother bird flew away looking for food. The other day i was nearly attacked when i walked to close to the nest. I had to take shelter inside.
From the nest you can actually see two nestling in it. No worries i didn't climb that high to take the pic. Zoom in effect and macro on. I think its flying away soon. Will have to wait these two nestling grow big and come back to breed again. Hee..The nest will be left untouch by us.

D & D and tired

Yesterday was our company D & D and the theme was red for the ladies. Irene Ang was the emcee. She is a lousy singer but she was extremely funny thou. The whole event went well except for some segments which i hope went by quickily.(speech) Our table was lucky enough to win a lucky draw price and we split the goodies. My preparation started 2 hours before i left...Kiasu right...But honestly it wasn't enough...beocs i need to be there by 6pm as i was one of the receptionist. Cocktail recept started ard 6.30...and seriously all of them dress up as if they were attending the president's party. Even the aunties.(They had their hair done). The dance segments was very interesting as some of the male doctors was dress as drag queens. The females put up a sexy dance. Thank god i wasn't in the dance. Becos as a tradition, the staff will be "encourage" to take part in the show, but due to school commitment, i said no. I went back ard 11 plus. But those who wish to stay are welcomed. Then this morning..i had this terrible strain on my neck. In fact, i am still having this pain. I think i need salonpas.

Hee...Got my pay increment and feeling happy. Anyway, i bought the tickets to The Phantom of The Opera. The 2nd most expensive pricing. My treat for dad and me. Even thou i feel the pinch, but since i love musical play so much and they come once in a blue moon i think i dont mind paying that much. Can't wait for it. I wanted to watch it twice but the tickets are selling fast and hard to get two seats together now. Next one is A Midsummer night's dream at fort canning, but...have to seat on the floor becos its so called "under the stars"(more like on the grass)lor. I think my my butt will have to suffer, so that is putting my decision on hold first.

Company D & D is coming up. Wonder why is it in Apr??? Becos the end of financial year is in Apr lor... Theme is Red(lady) vs blue(man). So i have to go look for Red dress (Argh...why not my fav pink). Honestly...i detest the colour red. My whole wardrobe only has one red top and its not even completely red you know (red buttons). That is how much i hate the colour red. I really need to find a red cum....(pondering....)white dress.

Sore feet from walking. I went to check out the museums for the trips that we are planning for the company. So freaking far plus we dont really know where is the exact location. My colleague and i were holding a map and looking for the museums. We looked like tourist. Disgrace man!! Fancy being a singaporean and not knowing our way. Plus the map that we printed from the website wasn't of much help. We were joking saying that maybe we should borrow a map from the tourists. Fortunately, everything is going as plan. Being the shopaholic, even thou i was tired, i still manage to pop by raffles city mall to do a quick shopping. By the time i went home and took off my shoes, it felt like heaven. Morale: Never wear heals when you know you are going to do alot of walking. But in this case, it was a last minute decision so it cant be helped. Hee..
Class starting next week and not looking forward to it because its 4 lesson per wk agin. Argh!!!

Today is my birthday...So i am wishing myself a happy birthady...Received a box of chocolates from company...Then i realised that our company gives chocolates to staff during their birthday. Hee...was happy eating away..also received a cute notebook from my colleagues. So nice..its pink and red. I dont think i will want to use it..its too cute already. Mum will be giving me a treat to lunch..haha...I applied leave on my birthday becos someone ever told me that if you work on your birthday, you will be slogging forever. I think i am using that as an excuse to take a short break from work. I thought i can sleep till late morning but the piano man is coming over to tune my piano @9am. Which means i got to tidy the house..argh.!!! In fact, earlier on, i was busying polishing my piano & dusting it...if not the tuner will think "Tsk Tsk....this lady ah...so lazy to keep piano clean". I am down with the flu bug since friday...didn't go see doctor yet...becos each time when i wake up on weekends, its close to 12pm...the clinic would have been closed by then. One word...cheap. For the Redbox over there. We only paid approx $7 Sing and we sang for 3 hours. Meals provided..we had a plate of pasta and drink, free flow of ice cream and soup. OMG...!!! I have got sun burnt skin. All thanks to mum for grumbling that the garden looks untidy. So i started to mow the lawn and pull out the weeds.(with the help of bro and dad of course) Then i found snails hiding among the grass. Being curious, i started spraying water at it and using the shears to poke at it. Fun..but i admit it was cruel. After all the gardening work, went to play tennis. Brother wanted to try out the new racket he bought. Seriously i need to work out...becos after a few serves, i was tired and feeling a bit light headed. Dad took over. After tennis, swimming...gosh..i cant imagine me doing so much of exercise today. Back home...and was enjoying mum's home cooked western meal. Thinking back..thnak god for the exercise if not how many pounds am i going to put on.

So happy that exam is over. One paper but what the hell i couldn't even spent the christmas with my family. Why?? Because i was mugging for exam. This is stupid. So after the exam, as usual, i need to de-stress. So i went shopping. Anyway, right now i am resisting buying stuff in singapore becos i am going to malaysia for shopping. (smiling happily). Setting of on the 1st Jan. yesterday went to the newly open bottle tree park for prawn fishing..freaking $14.50/hr. only managed to catch 6 miserable prawns. But fun afterall...it requires a lot of patience and playing tug of war with the prawn. Feeling sleepy now..just got back from my cousin's wedding.

The other day i pop by swatch shop and just wanted to take a look at their christmas collection, in the end, i end up buying one. I was deciding between 2 watches. I know i promised to upload picture of my trip but i really dont have time. I had a poly classmates gathering on friday and a primary school gathering on sat. Then music class on Sunday.. my wkend totally gone. But anyway, the gathering was an enjoyable one. Thou only a few turn up, nevertheless, it brought back lots of memories. Beijing Trip

Back from beijing yesterday night...reach home this morning ard 12 am. Extremely tired. The whole trip was unforgettable...especially the forbidden city which i wanted to go. One word to describe the palace.."HUGE". Even thou we spent quite some time there, we couldn't finish all the chambers. Took some pictures but didn't have time to load them. Maybe over the weekend=) The weather was super cold and it wasn't even snowing then. (Disappointed) The wind was strong and that worsen the coldness. Nevertheless i have always love cold weather. Looking forward to the next trip...hmm...wonder when will it be.

For the past 3 weeks it has been really busy for me.. Tons of prac reports to do. Each due one week after another. Just keep churning reports after reports. I haven't got time to myself either. Plus this saturday is the NHG family day which means i am going to sentosa with my colleagues and family. Which means, i have no time to pack my luggage. In fact i haven't even started packing yet. Gosh...i am sooooo asking for trouble. I will be having classes from mon-thurs and thurs night i am flying off...Argh....i need more time. Better to pack bit by bit. luckily tmr there is no class...so i will be going to orchard to get all my stuff that i need. That's all i have time for. But for now...another prac report is due soon, so gotta start doing the finishing touches before handing up.

food poisoning

Had soya milk and mee siam yesterday morning...then in the afternoon, had diarrhea, vomitting and stomach pain. So tiring having to go to the toilet so often. Today felt slightly but weak. Still had to go to work. Feel like taking mc initially. But also nothing to do at home. My tummy keeps growling. I think i will need to go toilet again.

Traffic Jam

Class finished ard 9.40pm...but ireach home ard 11.45pm...why??? Bloody traffic jam along adam road. All because of a fallen tree. I am sure this tree has been there quite some time. But the police didnt get someone to saw it off. They would rather direct the traffic and wait till tmr for the tree to be saw off. I slept for a long while and when i woke up, the journey is not even half way thru. So angry...Furthermore i need to rush for my assignments. All done finally.

Pigging

Last friday met up with my friend and we had crystal jade for dinnner. Sunday had a feast at uncle's place. Monday had seafood at Changi...I felt so guilty...so i did some excercise. I cycled from my place up to sembawang park. I think it was at least 5Km. Feel so happy...then. Auntie called us to go to her place for malay feast becos someone gave her alot of malay food. Good lor...All my effort gone to waste liao. It was so tiring. my legs was so wobbly after cycling. But somehow i feel that my tighs more tone.

Remember last thursday i was supposed to have a meeting...everything went smoothly. The funny thing was that the person i was supposed to meet happens to be my ex-lecturer. As for now, nothing lately. Just can't wait till weekend.

Just when i thought everything is running smoothly...my boss had to drop this bombshell on me. We will be having a meeting at SCS. I wonder will they be coming over or we are supposed to go there. Have to prepare the figures for them to check how many tissues collected so far. Haiz...Prepared already but somehow feel like something is missing...i want to put in more data but dunno what else to put also. I dont want to embarassed myself. Hope everything will go smoothly on that day. Not looking forward!!

I finish watching already b4 it was shown on tv. Thumbs up for the show. Towards the end its quite draggy but the princess will end up with prince as usual.

Updates...going to china. Initially wanted to go to Australia. But the fares the travel agency is quoting us is too ex. Ard 3-4 k for 5-days trip extra after using the free pair of tickets. Parents wanted to go china anyway so we follow suit. Honestly...it doesnt matter which country becos its all new too me. I love travelling thats all. People will normally say wait till u are old then go to china and go sight seeing. But...provided u still have the stamina. My mum was telling me if u can finish climbing the great wall of china u get a cert.Hmm... Immediately i told my mum..i want to try to conquer it. One more thing...its winter season....Yipee....of all the seasons i love winter the most...i really hope to see snow..I have already fancied a piece of pink winter wear which will go well with the pink ear muffs( still eying on it). Gotta find time to go shopping for winter wear and new lugguage bag which is big enough for the clothes. Must try to find white colour this time round. As to the list of places i will be visiting...will update again..Cant remember..haha.

The other day i saw cats mating by the road side....the funny part was that the kittens was hiding in the drain while the two adult cats were doing their thing...Gosh...so many "kids" already and still wanna produce more...Aiyo...cant even take care of them...Then today i saw the kittens playing with each other on the ROAD. So dangerous...!!Anyway nothing to update also..But will be going overseas ard Nov...still planning thou...will update again. All Gone

My weekends was packed with stuff to do. I miss my wkends. Sat had to go to raffles city convention hall to attend a scientific meeting which include the NHG grp hospitals. No choice, boss was there chairing one of the talks so had to show my face there. Ended ard 5 plus. Then on Sunday whole family went to the NATAS fair to check out the package price and it was so crowded. By then, half a day gone. Now back to work. Did nothing productive at all. Looking forward to the next weekend.

Its been some time since i blog...today i went to terminal 2 to sent my colleague of to Barcelona. She is attending a conference....I dont think i ever been to T2.. Its quit classy thou. Wanted to shop there but wasn't much things to see anyway. Yawnz...i am sleepy...stop here for now. If i have time will change backgrounds too.
